I just ordered one for bass. I've used them in salt water, but much larger. They work well for stripers and blue fish.
I want to try it on the big lakes here in the NE. Congrads on winning this weeks contest. PM coming your way. [ ![]() [signature]

It's kind of funny, I had never seen them for bass till yesterday on B.A.S.S. website then saw your post. I ordered one too. Can't wait to try it.

You gotta let me know how that works. I was curious how much drag would be on it.

They have also been referred to as Umbrella Rigs.

Saltys call them that as well as christmas tree rigs.
Have to see how they work on smallies on champlain. That would be a ride. Might have to use a saltwater setup to work it. [signature]

They are fast becoming a very hot item here in AZ. Saw my first one a couple of tourneyments ago, must have been back in November, and they have been poping up all over.
Couple of things to consider with the Alabama rig 1. I know that CA and AZ have limited the number of hooks you can have on one rig. Not sure of the limits right now as I have not tried one yet. I would suggest checking though before tossing it out there. 2. Our club has put a two hook limit on them during tourneyments. you can put baitless hooks on the other runners but can only have two hooks in the rig. Anyway thought I would throw that out there.
