Hi,try using something smaller,I know you want to catch a lunker so use the 10" worms later during the magic hour.
Once it sinks,I like to slowly raise my rod tip while twiching it,then let it go back down,or don't twich it,let the tail do all the work, good luck, try a 6" twirl tail worm,or a hooktail worm,I use them with 1/32 ounce bullet weight.
About that frog,a short story,ok.Alfred never caught a single bass with his frog, but usually got bites. After he changed to a single hook design he finally caught some bass, and was finally able to enjoy fishing a frog.P.S.I came up with the idea first.Alfred after watching me catch a few bass, said this"Whatever you did to your frog do it to mine" he said this in a frustrated tone

FWI[/#008000],I also never caught anything on a frog until I used the single hook design anyone else in that boat?,I'm telling the truth.I always liked the way frogs look, and always thought it be cool to catch a bass on one.My best is a 7lb bass with it no joke,my second biggest bass ever. enjoy, thanks to my single hook design,I even catch the smaller bass in the 1 and 2 lb range, mudfish even. This frog is some of my best work,it really helped me catch bass, and for that I'm proud of myself. All I ask is you give it a try.I have the bass pic but in the excitement I did not include my frog in pic,but you will see more of my frog this year.
[signature][#008000]EDIT [/#008000][#000000]notice I even pintch the barb since I catch so many now,and I add glue so the frog won't tear.I overlap the eye of hook to the ring it comes with "so the frog won't slide down"Then I tye through both eyes, see first pic[/#000000]
