We had thoughts of checking it out yesterday after we woke up and saw the Sf levels jumped up. We wanted to shoot some g squirrels , we went up from blk ft and the road was dry and in good shape all the way to poisen creek. res is still pretty solid. you could see where it had thawed in some of the bays but with the last front had frozen back up. road is plowed through bone. guessing with the weather this week it may ice off enough to fish some of the bays. prob will take a while for tye carp to get moved out of the deep.

It ices up before most of them too. That place is like an ice boxs come fall. We stopped on the bridge below the dam. Water color was about normal like it is all fall, a little in clear. Level is still low, guessing !50-200 crap

Looked like lots had the idea to hit it today......it sucked. Water temp was. 44-46. We trolled raps, pop gear, tossed wraps and a few Flys and couldn't turn a fish in 5 hours. Didn't see anyone else hooking up either. Marked lots of fish but couldn't entice anything to bite.
