Caught 4 fish last night, all on the swimbug. Waiting to get home to upload them. I dont have a scale but i am good at estimating the weight. Whenever i upload them, feel free to correct me if i am wrong. The biggest last night was maybe 4 lbs, maybe a bit more.

Well, i got one last night on a jig. I used a sweet potato pie swim bug that i cut in half to fit on the jig. I bought a scale before i went fishing and the fish weight 2 1/2 lbs. and about the 4 fish from the other day, my computer doesn't want to read my memory card. I will get them somehow but here is my first entry.
-caught on a jig, with a sweet potato pie swim bugfish -weighed 2 1/2 lbs

Myself and two of my buddies went to Lake Powell, Utah for five wonderful days. It was my first time there and I was stunned by not only the size of the place but it was absolutely beautiful. Largies were up on beds, smallies were on beds, I caught my first striped bass, saw Indian ruins and cliff writings. I even got a heavy hooked terminator jig in the back of the arm for a bonus, my buddy got it out of the brush he was stuck in and I was glad my back was turned...I heard it before I felt it but it popped out with pliers pretty easily and only a couple minutes of 'ouch, that hurts'. It was one of the best trips fishing trips I've ever had.
It wasn't much of a soft plastic bite so I didn't break out the Wave gear, I was using Tiki Grubs on my jigs as a trailer and went through a few of them because the tails kept getting torn off by short bites. I got one pic with a 3.5" Tiki Grub on a home made jig.

Nice catches. Well, I haven't been able to fish due to finals coming up and my girlfriend is in town since she is already out of school. Hard to find times to fish. Looking to go tonight if my girl will come with me, lol, to catch some more entries for the contest.

Swimbug is my favorite. I catch more on this white one than any other lure I current use and have confidence in and they are tough. They last and last and last. Quality lures. I shaky head them and weightless at Valentines and catch my best bass on the white. If I win some of the E-Gift cards during this contest I am going to stock on some of the white swimbug and other white wavefishing stuff.

I just love these lures. They don't tear or break up even catching fish after fish on them.

Didn't mean to sound like I was doing that.

I caught about 8 Largemouth on that one lure yesterday and it still looked like it did when I took it out of the pouch except for the hole where I rigged the hook.

I just really like these lures.
