Our group got "creeled" (if you can call it that) 3x from Friday to sun in riggings this past weekend . All 3x times the guy walked up and asked someone at random "did you limit? Did you see anyone limit? and then walked off. He never asked anyone else if we had fish, to check them for tags or asked how long we had been fishing. I’m not a mathematical type guy, but I gotta imagine it’s hard to get even vaguely accurate catch/per hr numbers like that.
It would seem to me he was looking to just check people that had limited out. But that would seem to screw the catch rates to look better.

What do you expect from someone making minimum wages? Oops, that was probably PC uncorrect...
IDF&G's harvest reports are a complete joke!! I've shared the story from last year when my brothers and I partook on the 10 hour drive based on the "scorching" harvest reports publicated by the Dept. Warm weather turned our trip into an 3 day dine-and-drive roadtrip, with the Little Salom reaching 4,910 cfs, and the big river breaching the 70k mark. To top it off, you had better clarity trying to look through the pavement, than through the water, as it was dark chocolate milk.
The following Tuesday IDF&G released their harvest report for the week we were standing around watching the Hershey fountain flow...and low and behold, the catch rate was 6 hours per fish, and the creel takers had checked 440 fish that had been caught!!!! Dang, that was awesome fishing!
Needless to say, the Dept's harvest reports hold no more credibility than Obama telling us that the "private sector is doing fine..."
What a JOKE....

or every time i stop at the check station in ashaka there is a sign on the door that says be back soon. 20 minutes. all the equipment is out but there is never any one there no matter what time of day. i can tell you they have missed a bunch of fish because of that.
