Had fun this year on Ririe Res.

Just so I don't qualify as a "lurker" I thought I would post about the fun fishing we have had at Ririe on the Blacktail end of the reservoir. I had had a goal to discover Blacktail for myself as I had never been on the upper end of the reservoir. The yellow perch fishing was very good this year with alot of perch caught in a few hours time, as many as 25 between my son and myself. When my son was much younger I used to tease him that dads (myself) would always catch the biggest fish! Now in his early 20's he has informed me that he always catches the biggest fish which is usually true. He has caught several 10" perch up and Ririe this year along with a number of 9 inchers to back the 10s up. The suckers put up a good fight too. Caught a nice 1-1/2 lb smallmouth bass this year at Ririe too!

Always good to "allow" the kids or spouse to "win". My boy got the first Walleye - and continues to rub it in, and everytime he does - I just and wave ( and wave boyz)
