little dell one last time ....report

hi all fished little dell again today snow was falling wind was blowing had ice one my guides and mustache beautiful day to be fishing caught 4 today 1 at 8" 2 at 14" and 1 at 16" ran into a new member on the board bigben1 who got a couple but thats his story to tell took some pics. i'll post when i get them developed

Hi everyone here is my report on LD. Got up about 9:30 am and it was looking nasty in the drive up the Canyon. I was excited though, there's something about facing mother nature's fury that gets me excited. Was the first car in the LD parking for the day and drove down tto the ramp. Started fishing and it wasn't too bad with the weather. I had my camel-back full of hot chocolate so that kept me warm []. Started casting a Jakes lure out from the ramp and would cast3-5 times then walk along shoreanother 25 feet. Though I hit a snag, but it was my first fish. A beautiful 19"er. After measuring I get in my camera bag and forgot to put the body in after I was trying out my new lens[]. Caught him at N 40 46.462 W 111 42.038.

Fished for a bit more then Aquaman came by. He was nice enough to invite me over to the bay that he has had success at before. He hooked into a couple and I took a pic. After a bit my Jakes froze/broke off so I switched over to a rappala and got anice one about 14-15 ". Took off after that because I had to meet up for lunch.

Little Dell was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to going there when it warms up a bit. Anyone know if u can ice fish there? Prolly not with all the strage regulations.
