#1
When you are ice fishing can you use two poles with the single license or do you still need a 2nd pole permit?

Or keep a few kids handy....

come 2013 - you can add a third hook to the line.

Figgered - with my two poles - I have a chance to holler out SEXTUPLET ON!!! Think I'll get any puzzled stares?

.. except at Flaming Gorge. From pg. 24 of the Fishing guidebook:

A person may use up to six lines without a
second-pole permit when fishing at Flaming
Gorge Reservoir through the ice. When
using more than two lines at Flaming Gorge
Reservoir, the angler’s name shall be attached
to each line, pole or tip-up, and the
angler shall check only their lines.

I assume you are referring to the Wyoming side of the Gorge. I believe the Utah side of the Gorge, which doesnt seem to freeze very well, falls under Utah regulations. For Wy, you need a Utah license and reciprocal permit to fish the Wyoming side.

Utah regulations for Flaming Gorge:
