Mallard Springs or what ever the hell they call it now was frozen thick as hell on friday so I assume pelican should be caped over just watch out for the Jerk fish cops there.

Anyone fish Pelican this past weekend? I'm hoping to make it out there this week and would live to hear of any reports!

We made it out there yesterday. 2 degrees when we arrived. We fished the west side near the reeds. Ice is an soild 5 inches thick! Fishing was slow and steady for the time we were there! We caught 20 Bluegill, but no bass!
