		Thanks for the update.  I've never been a fan of Deer Creek through the ice, but I'm determined to conquer it this year.

I was up at strawberry yesterday all the bays were pretty frozen we first went to mudcreek solid 3 inches of ice, didnt fish it, then we went to soldier creek marina not alot of ice only about 2 inches think about 15 feet from shore around most of it launched the boat after we drug it down the launch fished it for 5 hours caught 40 plus cutts and rainbows only 4 over the 22 inch range biggest was 23 inches, caught 4 rainbows.pictures should come later my phone is being difficult [signature]

		A friend of mine was at Soldier Creek today and said there was 4 inches of ice in the bay right off Highway 40. They caught a total of 12 fish. Didnt say what specifically.

		I was at soldier creek today as well. I measured 6" at a few spots. Had my two year old with me so I didn't dare venture too far. Saw people fishing chicken creek, will.ve there tomorrow. 6" is more than comfortable but it was slow.

		Was hoping to get the pontoon on Byrants Fork once last time this week, does not look like that is going to happen. With this new storm it may be difficult to even get there. Will have to check with the marina to see what is going on. It is a pretty big bay, and hopefully the wind will keep the ice off for a few more days.
