The wife and went to montpelier res today..perch everywere..fished in 8-10 ft of water by the boat ramp..ice is about 6 inches...used tiny jigs and spoons tipped with mealworms...perch were in 5-8 inch range.[pirate]

Great to see some of the perch there getting thinned out a little. Although it would take a couple of thousand more sled loads to even begin to thin them!

Yes it was alot of cleaning...fingers are still sore! We save as many as we can and have a couple of big fish frys with friends and family..good times. And your right, it would take a thousand sled fulls to make a dent. Now for some ling fishing with dimtrap!
