Has anyone been to Fishlake and/or Deer Creek this year and could give some update on ice conditions?

Just looked at the live camera at DC, how is it not froze? It has been so dang cold you would think it would be capped by now. Anyone know how the north end of the lake looks?

Drove past today on my way to starvation. Saw a few people trying to fish out by charleston, or whatever that end is called. Also saw a guy pulled over and hop the barrier to go down and ice fish. Doesn't look very promising for good ice, but I ain't going back. Had too many close calls.

Anyone have an update on Deer Creek Charleston area? How far do you have to walk to the ice?
