took my kids out this afternoon to waste some time. ice was 5 in thick and pretty solid. we caught a couple of planter bows on ice flies tiped with worm or waxies. was a good day to get out with with my daughters. it was there first time on the ice and they enjoyed it very much other than the cold. all in all we had a good time. best of luck to every one out on the hard decks

Thanks for posting your report, sounds like you had some fun with the kids. Did you just walk out from the parking lot? How deep was the water you were fishing in?

I gave 21st Pond a try for a couple of hours on Saturday.
Access was from the parking lot.
Water was only about 7' deep where I fished and the fish were suspended about half way up.
I iced a dozen trout but all were small. [under 9"]
White Gizzila and wax worm.

Thanks for the info Dale. Sounds like that pond is shallow, I wonder how deep it is in the deep spots[:/]?

		Me to.
I was the only one on the ice and didn't venture out very far.
Does anyone know if the East side deeper than the West side?

The east is shallower. When they partly drained it to get at the supposed pollution at that end, it was obvious. The northwest corner is probably the deepest spot.

that looks like my frabill hideout in your picture wiperhunter.
was it any deeper down by that little dock?

I thought about going over by that dock and checking it out but decided not to. I saw your frabill hideout when I got there and when I left. It sounds like the depth must be the same, in most of the pond.
