Went to Mantua last Sunday - we got several trout but all were stock city. The flasher was lit up all day but couldn't get hooked up consistently until the afternoon. We got there 1 hr before light and fished until 3:40 - one perch and one nice gill. Fished the west Side and moved out deeper slowly...but couldn't sight fish for trout outside the weeds because the water was too murky. Couldn't see more than a few feet down. I was a little disappointed in the size of the trout deeper although we pulled out several fish.
That being said I'm headed to the port this weekend and wanted to know if any one has fished the little bay by the dam on the east side and on that point and break...looking to do some serious Ice Trolling and get after it there! Like always any intel is much app - you can pm if need be.
