Welcome to the site Stumpyjr, too bad the catching was slow for you but at least you had a chance to get out and do some fishing. By the way, are you related to Stumpy or Stumped?

I was over there on the east side just south of the boat ramp and it was slow. I talked to one fellow that said he had lots of bites but was only able to catch 4 between him and his partner. I managed two but they were not large. There were quite a few people around that area and I didn't hear much whooping going on from people catching so I guess it was slow all over.

My son in law DV8, was there with some friends on the east side south of ramp also. They moved around a lot, trying different depths. No slimers, but managed to bring home 5 decent perch.

I am not trying to brag, but I have been killing it at Rockport lately. 20 fish days by myself. I have been using glow in the dark jigs tipped with meal worms and powerbait. I am fishing in about 15-20' of water and just dropping it down to where I can't see it anymore.

Went out yesterday and did fairly well. 18 slimers. No perch. Glow rat finky's tiped with piece of night crawler. Used kast master above 12". Nothing big. 10-14 inchers. Left as the snow hit.
