Ok anglers here's your notice. Sign ups for the Best Dam Hyrum Ice Fishing Tournament will begin tomorrow morning Tuesday 01/15/13 at 0800. You will be able to sign up at nosauger.com. The site will be up late this evening and you may register and pay starting at 0800 on the 15th.
There has been a lot of interest in this tournament this year and I don't suspect the 200 spots will last long so be ready and get signed up before we're full. The Chesterfield tournament was canceled this year so this will be a great oppurtunity to get into another tournament.
We've got great ice this year and the fish are biting. This was a great tournament last year with some amazing prizes handed out as well as good money for the winners.
Don't procrastinate on this one or it will be too late.

Do you have info on the rules, when the contest is, what the cost is, etc... I don't get anywhere with the "nosauger" link.
I'd be curious to know more. Sounded like fun last year, I just don't seem to find much over 14" out of that lake. They fight bigger than they are sometimes...

Registration is $60 or $80 if you want to use 2 poles. Tournament is 2/2/13. The website is not up yet, so you won't be able to see it, but it will be up late tonight, and you can register tomorrow morning starting at 0800.

Because it is an advantage. There has been a lot of talk about the issue and this was what was decided on. Those that want that advantage over others must pay for it. I appreciate not trying to start a bitch session this was just a way the majority thought it could be made fair, and this is common practice in some other tournaments (no not all tournaments) but we're trying to be consistent with similar tournaments.
