According to the reclamation website, on Sunday the 27th, the lake was at it's peak elevation of 1122.59'. The lake has dropped down to 1122.37' on Wednesday, Jan 30th

That comes to an elevation drop of 2.64 inches.

This is normal fluctuation. We'll wait to see how much more of Mexico's water we get before we start talking about draw-down.

I doubt the lake has peaked for the year. We are only in the first month of it after all. With spring inflows from up North and banking Mexican water, I'd be willing to bet we'll see it rise above it's current level at some point during the next 11 months.

From the title of the post, I thought at first you were referring to fishing. To which I would have answered "Heck No!" [Smile]

Hopefully they are just filling up mohave for a week or two. Judging by how low Powell is though I would not expect too much in the way of water incoming.
