Well fished in shelly under the bridge and holly cow what a day. you honestly couldnt keep them off your like pull it out with a fish plop it off drop it in and in a sec or 2 there it was. they would hit just about anything you put in. fishing in about 2 to 4 feet of water. all rainbow trout none bigger than 11 inches. most were 6 to to 9 inches. but we couldnt rig up all the poles. out of 15 poles we only had in 9 and that was almost to many. sorry no pics. turned back all of the fish. would have kept them but not a fish eater. was a fun day. then decided to move to the other side of the river in hope of some bigger fish but only caught 4 more over there but those were some 12 inchers so not to bad. ice was about 12 to 14 inches 20 feet off the bank and about 6 inches 10 back from the open water.

I was going to head to Mackay in the morning . but with $4.00 diesle . I decided to try the river near Rose Bridge . Curt G.

Not trying to change the subject - but how did fishing by the rose bridge go? I may have seen you, did you fish Friday?

I punched 10 holes . The river is full of slush ice . I could not get a hook to sink . Curt G.

i didnt have much problem sunday when i went down a little closer to the edge but closer to the bank was good and all of the fish were caught in about 2 feet of water.
