Im heading out this sat and takin the fiance she has yet to cacth one on the ice. wondering what one to go? and where i have yet to catch a fish on either, any pointers will be appreciated

Go to Starvation with tiny ice ice flies 10" under a silver lure. Put 1/2" worm and fish right on the bottom in 60' water. I will be North of the bridge if you need help.

If you want big trout fish strawberry bay. If you go to strawberry bay, use a green ice cutter or any other big green jig. Every once and a while the fish will go for rat finkees

i have those setups already any suggestions on where. and what bridge are you talking about the i40?

Yes, the bridge of I-40.
Just move a lot till you find fish. Perch are a very tight schooling fish and once you find a school have everyone in your group do the same exact thing before the school moves on.
A two pole permit at Starvy is priceless. Use one rig on the bottom for perch and use something for the slimers towards the top 1/3 of the water column. Use something to hold your trout pole though, when those bows hit they don't mess around.
