news on strawberry?

Anyone been to strawberry, know the ice conditions?

I was up there Fri, Sat last week. The ice is super thick everywhere we were. We fished late friday right out from the Marina boat ramp and did ok. Then saturday took the wheelers over towards mud creek. Snow was about 6 inches and no slush as ong as we were staying on the main trails formed by other wheelers and sleds. We did find one place with slush and moved to where we could see others had fished and the slush was frozen. We set up the tent and road out the blizzard, catching about 40 fish between 4 guys all after 9 am. Left the lake about 3. Hot ticket was a white cutter bug or gizzy bug tipped with meal worm or night crawler.

was up monday and everything was great caught about 25 fish between 3 of us, had a great day again....
