Im planning on heading to pineview with my daughter and brother this saturday. We want to have some fun getting some perch. I was wondering if anyone has been up there lately, and where they fished. But mostly I wanted to know what the ice thickness is. im kind of a worry wart about that stuff especially when i take me daughter.

was up there yesterday. started at the port ramp around the docks and drilled my way to the point. (browning's) 16+ inches ice little melt on top maybe 1/2 inch of slushy water not bad just a little sloppy. edges were fine on and off ice. but you may want a plank after todays rain and temps. anyway after several holes finely found a nice stack of perch about 20 30 yards off the shore in 34' right in front of the rocks. no-stop action still in the 7-9 inch ranges. they wouldn't even wait for the jig to get to them sonar showed them swimming up to meet the bait.
