Hit the evening bite last night and BARELY made it on with the wheeler at Port Ramp. Getting off was interesting but I made it. Ice is still very thick if you can get on but take your waders as there is about 3" of water covering most of the lake. As for the fishing I fished off Browning and hammered the perch (no dinks either) til dark. They were stacked in the bottom 10' of the water column and my jig never had to hit the bottom. Caught a bunch of dink crappies as well but managed a few keepers. Don't know how the other access points are so be careful if you decide to go!

You say no dinks for the perch, so what are we talking. What was the size of the perch if you don't mind me asking. Did you fish for the crappie after dark or stop when the sun went down. What were they hitting the best on?
