hey ya'll thinkin about one last trip to the gorge sat. any word on the ice conditions would be much appreciated?

Was up there Monday and Tuesday of this week. Plenty of safe ice north of Buckboard. Some water around the edges, but lots of places to get on the ice. Lots of wind on Monday, a little less on Tuesday. Two of us caught enough to make it interesting. Caught macs in 60' of water and rainbows in 20'.

Lost Dog has 12 or so inches with open edges. I would recommend a piece of plywood.

Firehole is very accessible and has about 2 and a half feet of ice still.

The Ling bite is very slow at the moment.
