Hows the open water at DC, any shore fishing available yet?

Last month when I went there was open water by the middle Provo that's all but I didn't fish it. Lets hope for a good school spring ice off thats coming soon.

Just drove by DC yesterday. Most of the lake is still capped, but edges are open. The Wallsburg arm had a couple hundred yards of open water with a dozen people fishing it. The Charleston end had more than that. There were a half dozen float tubes and two boats on that end just before noon.
