Went down and hit the west side of the lake this afternoon.

That's a nice brown you got there. Would like to pull one of of there one day ha ha ha.

Ended the day with 2 browns and 4 bows.

I thought that I heard at one time that they were only planting bigger bows in there now?

The other two bows were fin clipped planters and they were lucky to be eight inches long.

Perfect walleye bait so they went back for those big females to eat after the spawn. []

Well to tell the truth they all went back for somebody else.

They have the same program at strawberry, but I've caught a ton of dinkers there that didn't even make it to 8 inches. But I'm sure some smaller fish get mixed in. It's just an average of 8 inches. I'm sure some of them get eaten by walleyes still, but not as much if they were 3 inches.

Yeah if ya know where to go at ice out it can be a fun time. I have caught some real nice fish down there at this time of the year.

Makes me wish that I still had my boat.

Always nice to catch some aggresive browns.
