I know in the past you could fish for walley up to the center street bridge in provo. Is that still the case? I searched the proclamation but couldn't find anything. If you know please reply, because i'm heading down in a few minutes!

(a) From Center Street Bridge (entrance to Utah Lake State Park) upstream to I-15 (Utah County):
• CLOSED to taking of nongame fish by methods other than angling.
• CLOSED March 1 through 6 a.m. on the first Saturday of May.

The Provo River is closed from the Center Street Bridge upstream to I-15.

The Provo River is closed upstream from the Center Street Bridge. It is not closed downstream of the Center Street Bridge.

Well to follow up, the fishing was crappy. No bites. All the "elements" were aligned and still didn't produce fish. It was poor weather, we fished a wind washed bank, and it was night. I can't say that I believe all the above increases the walleye bite? Maybe sometimes, but not always. Too many factors to know why things were the way they were.

[cool][#0000FF]The only rules of fishing that are absolute are:

1. They ain't no rules. Fish do what they wanna.

2. Ya cain't ketch 'em where they ain't.

3. Findin' ain't ketchin'.

4. The best time to go fishin' is whenever you can.

5. The worst time fishin' is better than any time workin'...or ALMOST anything else.
