Bear Lake ice conditions?

[fishin] Just wondering who knows how the ice is holding up I am ready to launch the boat usually by the 1st part of April it opens up just checking thanks.

Don't warm up the motor yet, 13" of ice and its tight to the edges almost all around, a couple soft edges around the springs.

Thanks the motor is already warmed up just waiting for the weather to. My worst day in the boat is better than my best day on the ice I will wait.

Is the ice still good tho how long do u think it will stay

I have seen that much ice and it be gone in 2 weeks or less this time of year normally I plan on the first weekend of April for open water but maybe not this year.

Some of the old timers that I have talked to say that if the wind doesn't get carried away that that ice will stay till May. Ive heard one guy say the ice stayed till the first week of june! I wish it would come off myself.
