Today was my day off for fishing this weekend. Mom was working so it was just my 3 year old daughter and I. The walk down the hill to Cleveland was a solid crust today, as was the lake. No slush, just around 30" of ice and frozen slush to drill through. We were there from 8 to 12:30 and caught 9 fish, had a blast for some late ice fishing. Seven were fat rainbow around 14" to 15". The other 2 were a nice rainbow and cutthroat. There was no one else there or at Huntington. Huntington looked to have a pretty hard crust as well, I'd bet it would be similar to Cleveland with the warm days and cold nights.

Nice! We were there about 6 weeks ago and it was about 4 ft of snow down the hill and then a little over 1 ft of slush on top of about 18 in. of ice. We did well too, I forget how many rainbows. Somewhere 11-12 I think between 3 people. They were all exactly either 14 or 15. Like they were identical twins. It was a good time, but were wet when we were done!
I included a pic from inside our tent, notice how close the bottom of the chair is to the slush. It was like sitting in a half melted snow cone, haha.

Nice! That's a great looking cutthroat.
Can't wait for the snow to melt out there.
So there's still a lot of snow on the ground?
