Deer Creek

I headed up to deer creek from Thursday - Sunday. Let's say the fishing wasn't great what so ever. On Thursday I tossed out my pontoon and was on the water from 11 am - 8 pm end up with 2 nice 18" fat bows 1 on worm and the other on a rapala shad rap. Had tons of hits on the fly rod but was hard to hook them up.

Friday went back on the toon and caught 0 the whole day. Had some nice hard hits here and there but fishing sucker. Hit lower provo for a little bit till a major head ache told me to go to walmart to get medication. After that I hit some rocky banks by the island with 0 bites.

Saturday hit the island on my float tube went around had only one bite the end. End up hitting the provo river for a little bit and caught 15 bows and 1 brown trout. One of the bows were 16" the rest of them were planter bows that were planted in the lake that head up the river. Tried some nice fishing at the lake nothing!!!

Sunday just went to the middle Provo and caught 20+ bows had a few big one on that gave a little show until they spit the woolly bugger.


It was nice and relaxing camping again but fishing just sucked until I went to the river.

It looks like DC shunned me from showing here nice bows just because I took tons of perch last summer.

I just give out approximations. I rather enjoy the time fishing instead of counting even fish I catch. Luckily I did count all the fish I pulled out of Utah lake from this winter.[laugh]

Too funny, maybe FFL should have stated that he caught four fish but approximated 20+[laugh]
