Went to deer Creek today in the boat. I launched about 10 am with just a mild wind over by walsburg. I took off And headed for the walsburg inlet area. Not too many people when I arrived at the area. The fishing was consistant until noon. Then it just came alive as well as all the people fishing on the shore. There had to be over a hundred people lined up and down the shore. This great fishing will not last long so get up there before its too late. I would have fished all day if it wasn't for the wind blowing me off the lake. Most fish were small planter size but I also caught a few that were over a pound as well.
