[left][black][size 4]Our final program of the season for April will again feature our traditional “The State of the Fish and Water” address for the 2012 general fishing season. Mr. Dave Teuscher, Fish & Game Fisheries Manager, has graciously consented to present his thoughts and findings for the upcoming fishing season. Mr. Teuscher’s presentations are both informative and insightful.

[left]Past presentations have included results on how fish have survived the winter, growth rate of fish, catch rate, restoration and biology work on streams, type and stocking numbers of local reservoirs, current and projected water levels of reservoirs, any diseases noted during field research, and any proposed or passed rule changes that would affect our sport.
Dave will also share with us some of the special field research they have been working on this past year and why this research is important. The statistics they gather are very interesting and help explain some of the decisions Idaho Fish and Game make in the preservation of our fisheries.[/left]
Dave is very knowledgeable when it comes to the state of our waters and what we can expect for the upcoming fishing season.
