Oh yeah! I have a Hewescraft also, and they are one great boat. There is a reason they are the # 1 selling boat in Alaska; they are one tough boat. You will enjoy it for sure. That is one generous gift....I just saw a River Runner in poorer condition selling for $24,000 here is Boise. Mike

That is my dream boat and I am saving my pennies to get one. The only thing better than having a boat like that is having a buddy who has one.

I know right??? I got the motors both running last weekend...I fogged the cooling systems with wd-40 and had to dig out a ton of nasty gook out of the coolant exit lines...Mud wasps were filling them up with bugs and crap...We took it down to Lowell and left it on the trailer to test em out...the kicker purrs like a kitten...and the Evinrude 88 is a BEAST!! That sucker throws a ton of water!!! Turns out the floors were rotten and the seats were shot from the weather...(no cover for 10 years) But the motors look new and I gurantee they don't have but a small amount of hours on em...The big question is...can we get a new bimini enclosure from Hewescraft directly that matches that boat? Or do we have to have one custom made?

You should have told me. I wouldn't have made you pay for gas every time we go somewhere.......[angelic]
I agree. It's better to have a buddy with a boat than to have one your self (as long as you can get your buddy to take you once in a while).

Hey Ron...the jet ski is ready to roll...but at the moment I have no truck and the trailer we got for the jet skis needs worked over...I have it stripped down in the driveway and have to go find some steel to retrofit it...I'm hoping to be fishing from it in the next week or two....I am having battery issues on the ski as well...I bought a battery for it and you have to put the acid in it and charge it slow...my first battery didn't function properly and although it was new...my tester claimed it had a bad cell...so I swapped it out and the new one is better but I'm nervous to be out somewhere and my ride not start...so I'm thinking I should get a battery selector switch and rig it with the Sonar Battery for backup just in case...trying to be thorough and all...LOL
I have had my boat out a couple times at Arrowrock tearing up the Kokanee so I have been fishing...just not from the ski...Have you been sturgeon or Cat fishing lately?

No I have been tied down with work around the house and wind. This weekend I plan to hit Sturgeon and Cats this weekend. If the sturgeon is good enough I might pass on the cats. I have no where I have to be and no one to tie me down so I am like a tumble weed. I will figure it out when it happens. Ron
