Fishing line question (I know, not going to hear the end of it...)
#1
Anyone ever use the "Rapala" brand fishing line? I am looking at trying the Finesse line in 6lb, anyone have any experience with it?

not only do they make fishing line (which I tried and didnt like) but they just announced today that they will be making fishing poles and reels as well. didnt give a date when they would be available but announced that they would be starting production of rods and reels. Might be worth checking into. I love their lures just wasnt impressed with the line.

What did you not like about it? Was the feel/response/breaking just not up to snuff?

We bought it on clearance at Anglers inn here in Orem back when they went out of business. I guess what I didnt like about it was the feel and response it was tough line almost to tuff. had to much memory I like my line with less memory (like myself) my wife added that little snid bit. I beg to differ now what was I talking about......? oh ya line. I know there was a big discussion on line not to long ago and had some very good points and what line was best. I just wasnt impressed being from rapala and all.

My little brother's had a rod for about a year, too. I absolutly HATE their line. The dang stuffs tangled up on me A LOT! Broke on a 15 pound channel cat in Utah lake earlier this year. I think those other generic lines for like $2 are better.
