Looking for advice on fishing high creeks.
#1
I'm looking for advice on fishing creeks when the water gets high and the current speeds up. I know its not the best time to fish them but sometimes these creeks are the only places I can go to but when they're high I never catch anything and just get snags. Can anyone give me advice or am I better off just staying home those days?

you want to target the same holes as you did when the river was low. the trick is to add enough weight to get you in to those holes and stay there.

Maybe more weight at the hook and use an indicator to suspend it off the bottom.
But I agree, look for pools. And if the fish are rising, take up fly fishing[Wink]
