Powell question
#1
I'm heading down through Arizona next week and was wondering if its possible to catch stripers from the shore or if you really need a boat. I've done it from a boat before and had a blast. Ill be in the Wahweap area. Would you still use frozen minnows or some kind of spinner? Any tips would be much appreciated.

I have caught Stripers from the fishing dock in Wahweap. Not sure what it looks like right now with water so low. I have also seen people over closer to the dam on the east side area walking down from Antelope point Marina. I would recommend Anchovies to start with and when the fish get going use jigs. Good Luck.

People are still fishing from the "chains" area on the east side of the dam. I don't know how the catching is.
