multi-state bass adventure

I took a trip to California to visit family and had had a chance to do some fishing. We went to Sliverwood Lake.. We were told that the stripers were biting...they were but they were dinks not even worth keeping. The wind really started to to get bad so we headed into some of the back bays. We caught 8 largemouths before we were blow of the water. It wasn't the best day ever but it was still a good time.

So as with my vacation coming to an end yesterday i decided to get one more quick trip in before work. I didn't have time to mess with my pontoon or anything so I drove to a nearby spot and did some shore fishing. I only caught one bass but man was it NICE!!!!

The second picture was the one here in utah.. I know its bad but i was trying to get it next to my body to show the size...

Cali was fun but super hot... and windy. What lake are you going to? We were drop shoting most of the time with Roboworms.. margarita mutilator was a good color.. Good luck!
