Any news on white Bass at Utah Lake?

Just wondering if anyone has been out there recently and if the white bass are stacked up yet.

I took a walk down to the pumps last night. Ice was about 1-2 inches thick. I walked out 4-5 feet, but it was pretty creaky. Wasn't able to fish. Some more cold and maybe the ice will be thick enough to get out on.

Where are the pumps? Not very familiar with the lake except for lindon and AMF harbours.

Are these the pumps at the mouth of the Jordan River?

Yes, they are where the Jordan empties out. Nice little area for ice fishing when we can get ice. Park in the RC airplane parking lot and walk in, or park at Inlet Park and walk in. Be happy to show you some day if you would like.

No.NO there are not thousands of white bass,crappie,bluegill,perch by the pump house.

Sure I could go for that! I haven't icefished yet and this will a first this year. I'd like to get my feet on solid water nearby before braving the cold and driving distance to try fishing on ice.

The pump area is a favorite of my daughter's for cats during the summer time
