I went out 6/7 to bowfish the spur for the first time. I had heard there was some big carp out there so I headed out there. I was able to get ou to the flats and it was all grass under the water and no way to creep up on them with the electric motor I did end up shooting two big-uns 17 and 11 pounds and lost 2 more before they got to the boat. I headed in to the channel at the end of the day and got 2 more in the waining hours of the day. Both were large 17 and 11 pounds again.. Strange but true.. They were so skiddish that they would sink to the bottom when the boat drifted by.
