Hey all so the wife is letting me fish a little bit this fathers day weekend and having limited time I don't think I will be able to fish anything big. I saw on the dwr board that the Fairview lakes are fishing well. I was wondering if anyone else on the board has fished them before. I will be in a float tube and will either be fly fishing or using hardware. Any info would be great!

I've fished them from a float tube before and did good with black, olive and crystal wooly buggers. I've also thrown 2.5" crankbaits from shore and did pretty well.

They just stocked 7000 trout and it's a small lake , so the fishing should be fast and furious. You also have benches, bouldger, gooseberry, electric lake, Huntington, Cleveland and millers flat , all within 15 to 20 minutes of there. So you should be able to find some good fishing somewhere.

I was going to post about the same thing as Lonnie. Electric Lake was just stocked with 60,000 fingerling salmon, so i'm not sure what that will do to the fishing, but I'd assume fishing should be good there. Also, Huntington this time of year can be AWESOME!

Yeah, those tribs could serve the salmon well in the fall. The spring flows are obviously a lot higher for the cutts, but that super clear water might be great for the kokes.
...That is, if any kokes make it past the hungry cutts and tigers. Guess, we'll see in a couple of years.
