Alright folks I got a new goal for 2013!
I want to get a Muskie on the fly rod! I've never fished for Muskie but I am very determined to get one. Can anybody help on flies and how to fish them and what time of the day? Or if anybody wants to go up, lets do it

i myself pick them up on clousers, zoo cougars, butt monkey's, meat whistles, and from time to time, when its nice in the morning, i have got a few on large poppers and divers. the few times I have gone I have always managed 1 musky and several bass, except one awesome day where I managed 3 in a day, largest got close to 40 inches.
I have found that anywhere a musky would hide is a great place to start. I try to find brush, logs, etc, any place a musky could ambush something. its pretty dang awesome when fishing a popper to see a tree shake and a missle come at your bug. once the heat of the day really kicks up i call it quits and fish for bass, but have managed to pick a few up fishing craw imitations along the rocks on accident.
good luck and have fun. your going to spend a ton of time searching, and alot more time casting for them.
