So I spent this last weekend in my tube exploring some lakes in Fairview canyon. I first went to the Fairview lakes. Things were initially slow it after trying s few flies I found that flashback hares ears were the ticket and I pulled out a nice rainbow. I had a few other takers but no sets. I left after about 2 hours and went to the potter ponds. I caught three and missed about fifty. I was using various panther martin and blue fox spinners.
On a side note I went to the Fairview lakes due to reading that it was recently stocked by the dwr however when I was there I was informed that it wasn't stocked and they would in fact be draining the lake so I'm a bit
