Anyone fished Lyman or whitey yet this year. planning on a scout trip to one of those two places, we have a kid in our group who has never been fishing before, and we want to go to one of those to lakes, Lyman counts as Lyman and little lyman

Just got back from whitney and if you are after lots of 8-13 inch fish it is your place. I got about 70 of them before I finally got one to go 18 inches.

we went to Whitney this past weekend because a friend gave us that same report from the week before. although we caught some fish it was not nearly what we had heard. and in watching others around us it seemed the fishing was just slow in general. I think the warn clear days has put the fish deeper on the bottom now.

I was also there with some family. Fish were caught, although nothing too impressive.
It didn't seem to matter what I was throwing. There were plenty of fish within 20 feet of shoreline and the bigger hits that I got were right off the bottom, about 40 feet out.
The sun was raging!
