Another jordon report

Fished the river yesterday for a couple hours. Caught a carp three yellow perch whichi filleted for bait. Caught two cats on the perch and hooked some thing that felt HUGE and could not stop on 8# line hade it on for maybe two min before it got me in a under water tangle and broke off. Going back tomorrow and try again

Where on the jordan? Anywhere close to 9400s? Im thinking of heading down tomorrow morning for a couple hours since i have the day off and live right by the river. Never fished it, and never caught a catfish but think it would be fun.

BTW: Ill be releasing everything. Any tips would be helpful.

I love wrestling with cats on the Jordan, their strength is unreal.

What did you catch the Carp on? I'm getting a little low on cut bait and Carp meat could help replenish.

Might head out and try for some cats in a couple hours. Fished it last week, no cats just white bass. Was using some carp meat that I filleted off a carp I found dead on the bank. The river is super low in the spots I fished. Still looking for any advice as to where on the Jordan is decent...haven't fished it much.
