Strawberry Kokanee help please

Hey guys I am headed up to the berry this weekend with my neighbour to spend the weekend trying to get some Kokes in the boat I have never fished them so I could use a little input on what gear to take. The Boat had down riggers so we can get deep. Please any info would be good. WIll share the report when I get back sunday night or Monday.

Well I can tell you what not to do. lol Everything I tried last Sunday for the UDAV day. I wish it was closer. Now I am determined to figure it out.

I was at the DAV event and my vet caught 7 kokes and lost about 15 right at the boat. We were using Kokanee Creek Tackle dodgers and pink and white Double Trouble spinner squids at 1.3mph 48ft down. He also whacked 8 cutts and lost about a dozen of them at the boat. I dont have downriggers but was using large snap weights to get down. Hope this helps.[fishin]
