Flaming gorge

Im going to flaming gorge this weekend with family and we will be fishing from the shore. Any advice on where to go? would be very helpful. Also any suggestions on what might be hot would be appreciated also. My main focus is just to find the fish. Also, is their any chance at lakers from shore, or is it a total pipe dream? Thanks!

I used to think lakers from shore was a pipe dream until we caught some out of the boat close enough to shore I could have casted to it. Seems to me that only happens when they dump rainbows right out of the fish truck though. Where abouts are you guys headed?
