Big Bend of Colorado State Park

Hey everyone, has anyone fished this part of the Colorado before? It's down by Laughlin. Any thoughts?? I'm just looking for some place closer than Sunnyside that would be decent fishing without a boat.

I was there in January. NO fish at all. Could see all the way to the bottom. Locals tell me it is better in the summer. 115 degrees though. Was hoping for some trout.

Sounds if that there might not be any fishthere. But I'd like to try it though.

Fished it last night and this morning with very little luck. Got a few hits last night on a robo before sundown and landed a tiny bass this morning on a spinner.

Drive a little further and head to Havasu. It's a quality fishery and not too far away.
