No reason to fire any Tomahawks at them. We already provided enough support to the rebels to make it somewhat of a fight. That's fine as it gets already sanctioned weakened Iran into a bit of a quagmire with it's support of AsSad. Not in our interest to give the kind of support that could help al Qaeda backed rebels actually other throw AsSad. Congress will nix this and BO won't do it without their backing.

Here are my thoughts.

The wars that we been in since I was born were pointless and stupid. Especially what bush tossed us in iraq, iran, afghanistan, ect. Just because we thought they had nukes when they never could find a blue print or materials to make one [laugh]. Now with Syria. Let's just toss 10 M+ into the thin air like nothing can go wrong. Oh wait let's make the economy go into a bigger pot hole then what we are already in. Fantastic idea and the best part is that in 6-10 years later if we go to Syria we will have an amazing stock market crash because we got no money [angelic].

War is just pointless to think of. What have we accomplished since WW2. HMMMMMM killed millions of good people. Let's toss more lives just to make the US to the A decrease in human populate. Great plan.

Let's find a better way to spend the money wisely, oh wait I forgot the government or congress just want to toss it to make this country even worse one way or the other ha ha ha. Shame on them!!! [mad]

wow your so right on so many fronts. Afghanistan was pointless, we should have just left that place alone. the thought that the taliban gov was harboring the terrorist group that attacked and killed thousands of innocent Americans was no where near enough evidence to seek out and destroy them.

educate yourself before spewing unnecssary drivel

do you even know how to use google at all?

a few examples:

we removed a dictator from power and changed the lives of repressed people. i saw this first hand. yes the people did not want us in iraq and they told us, but they also told us they were glad we were there to help. when we pulled out they said they were ready to take over. is it perfect? nope, but as stated above we did make a differance.

we ousted the taliban and set back disrupted, and even stopped future attacks on our country. we also removed another gov that suppressed their own people. particularly women. i have this difference first hand and it is a fight we will continue to fight as long as someone or some group is challenged by our way of life and the freedoms we have.

now im sure you are making all of these assumptions based on your vast world experiences right? i mean you have been to these places and seen what positive effects the US has had by removing governments that Sadistically brutalized their own people while being easily corrupt in order to advance their own agenda at the cost of countless unarmed civilians right?

Syria... i dont have an opinion. i dont get paid enough nor am i in any position to make that decision. i do know how ever if i am told to go protect innocent civilians that include women and children i will do so without hesitation

I'm not entirely sure if you are spouting this nonsense due to lack of information or just plain naive.

Ya there might be a decrease in attack in our country but we shall see what news we get tomorrow. If you know what I mean by tomorrow?

Would be just nice to hide all the weapons and forget anything happened [:/] but like that would ever happen.

Agree 100%

Troops don't have the luxury of worrying about politics. The mission and the flag and those serving under it come first.

As my Wife spins up once again to go to Afghanistan I willingly support the mission and my family will make the sacrifice (6th time between the Wife and I) to ensure liberty is accessible to all.

Afghanistan is a long term mission. America made the mistake of ignoring Afghanistan after the Soviet pull-out and 20 years later there were global consequences. I entirely support not making that same mistake twice.
