anyone know of some small streams with fair fishing in the bountiful to ogden area.

I don't know about "small streams" but there are lots of good spots right in town to fish the Weber or Ogden rivers.

dont get me wrong I love the weber and ogden rivers I was just looking for a place to teach some people how to fly fish.
