Killer Spinner Rig for walleye and perch
#1
When you're at a new lake and don't really know where to begin it is a good idea to go with trolling. You cover ground with a very effective presentation searching for active fish on the prowl. One of my favorite methods to troll or drift with the wind is using a bottom bouncer and spinner rig. Most conventional spinner rigs have on spinner with some beads and a float. We've taken it another step to create the killer rig with three large spinner blades and multiple floats. For some reason the perch love this set up as well as Big walleye. So if you've never used a spinner rig bottom bouncing before this video is for you.

Your video does not work. If you can not get the embeded feature to work you are allowed to post the link instead.
I use spinner harnesses for walleye and will sometimes catch perch but why do you think a three blade harness works better than one blade?

When I goto a new lake if I don't have time to do any research before hand. I may stop and talk to a ranger if it is a state park or a shop. I will also take a quick gander of the lake and see where some areas of possible cover are. Then I will hit it. But then again it don't always work that way either.[sly]

New waters can always be finicky for me. Hit two new lakes last spring and was skunked on both of them. Another I caught fish. I don't troll so I look at it differently.

Not sure why the video isn't working. Not sure why three blades works better, most likely just more flash and vibration for attraction. Probably almost triggers a feeding frenzy. Maybe they think its other perch trying to eat the bait. Who knows but it works for us, but initially started as a joke.

Can you show a close up pic of your worm harness? I build my own and would like to see how it is put together and the color of the blades you are using. Thanks
