To me that is strange, maybe his method of rigging a wacky worm is not so impressive?[:p],or maybe he just doesn't want anybody to know? I am curious..I wonder myself how he rigs them?
Anyway here is my method,i actually just started fishing wacky.[
] [#ff0000]Edit[/#ff0000]: about the weight i used a 1/32 ounce bullet weight for the last two fish caught, after a few fish the worm lost most its salt and wasn't sinking so i added weight, but used the same rig, actually using a weed guard as well almost forgot. This will help from getting snagged since using this rig your hook is exposed.
There is a way to rig them using O-rings,i picked some up at homedepot #36 for 5" rat tail worms, and got #60 O-rings for some skinny 4" razor worms. The hooks i've used are 1/0 Lazer sharp eagle claw circle hooks and Matzuo size 4 straight eye circle hooks for ultra light fishing. Here is a video fishing this rig at night using 8lb fire line,in the video i say its 6lb but its really 8.
Hope you like the "Pauly rig" ,the circle hook makes for easy hook sets especially when using light line,i'm actually fishing them barbless as well[shocked]
