Senko's for Bass!
#1
The bass are crushing these this time of year!

Get stoked for fall weather Bassing! Anyone have some tips for me and using them wacky style? I've never had much luck that way, but I'm anxious to try it.

Here is a link on my favorite way to rig them weedess, and weightless: http://www.krakenbass.com/weightlesstexasrigsenko/

I have had great success wacky rigging this year. Waves, black/blue have brought a lot of fish to the boat. Working weeds I still go with a weightless rig.

Do you feel the waves work better than the senko's for wacky rigging? What type of hooks to you use? How do you rig them if you do want to add a wieght?

I'm clueless on this wacky stuff. I've heard good things though! Let me know your thoughts?

To me that is strange, maybe his method of rigging a wacky worm is not so impressive?[:p],or maybe he just doesn't want anybody to know? I am curious..I wonder myself how he rigs them?
Anyway here is my method,i actually just started fishing wacky.[Smile] [#ff0000]Edit[/#ff0000]: about the weight i used a 1/32 ounce bullet weight for the last two fish caught, after a few fish the worm lost most its salt and wasn't sinking so i added weight, but used the same rig, actually using a weed guard as well almost forgot. This will help from getting snagged since using this rig your hook is exposed.

There is a way to rig them using O-rings,i picked some up at homedepot #36 for 5" rat tail worms, and got #60 O-rings for some skinny 4" razor worms. The hooks i've used are 1/0 Lazer sharp eagle claw circle hooks and Matzuo size 4 straight eye circle hooks for ultra light fishing. Here is a video fishing this rig at night using 8lb fire line,in the video i say its 6lb but its really 8.
Hope you like the "Pauly rig" ,the circle hook makes for easy hook sets especially when using light line,i'm actually fishing them barbless as well[shocked]

You are an asshole. I hate your holier than thou attitude and I am sick and tired of reading anything you post. Am I out of line? Maybe. Let's take the gloves off.
You live in Florida, one of the bass capitals of the world. You can catch bass year around, this does not make you an elite bass angler. As you have shown over and over anybody can fish with live bait and catch bass. Anybody can catch bass in a place where the predominant species in the canals you fish is bass. If a pond in a neighborhood has bass in it of course you will catch a bass! This does not make you a better bass angler. This does not give you the right to talk shit on other bass anglers who have to actually deal with four different seasons. If I had to fish with you I would take you back to the marina in less than five minutes if you made it that long. You may not be familiar with a marina, you can google it.
For you to jump on a thread three months later and question a moderator for not replying on a board that he doesn't even moderate...you have confirmed everything I have thought about you since you signed up. I think your buddy ...ahhhh, what's his name....It will come to me...maybe not. I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. You should join him. I'm out.

I missed that post as I a life outside of BFT. Paulie needs to keep his bs to himself. Bashing MODS is not the way to be friends. Post away on sweetwater board here as you no longer welcomed on the bass board.
